The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Science Teacher to teach pupils across Year 5 to Year 8, delivering engaging lessons that build strong scientific knowledge and curiosity. • Deliver engaging and challenging science lessons across Year 5–Year 8.
• Develop comprehensive lesson plans and contribute to curriculum development.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils thrive.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies where needed.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
• A certified teaching qualification, such as B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent from a UK University.
• Experience teaching Science in a British curriculum setting.
• Strong lesson planning and curriculum development skills.
• High motivation for teaching with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable
• Proven experience teaching in the UK.
• A strong commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
• Recent UK or international school experience.
• Child protection training.
