The purpose of this role is to assure the quality of products, throughout the product lifecycle. These individuals will support the product lifecycle quality assurance, through the complete manufacturing process, and take responsibility for ensuring that processes and procedures are in place and adhered to in relation to product quality. In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England. Candidate skills: HNC / HND or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline In depth understanding and/or experience in utilising QA Tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, Control Plans, FMEA, Poke Yoke and RCCA 8D Report writing Sound Engineering / Quality background with experience of Quality Engineering in the Aerospace / Defence industry Experienced Quality Engineer within with Internal Design Teams In depth understanding of regulatory, international and aerospace quality management standards Experience in managing HSE risks and flight safety risks. Internal Auditor AS9100 trained Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain relationships with challenging international suppliers and manage frequent interactions with Senior Management and other internal customers Ability to challenge individuals at all levels to ensure compliance to business processes and standards Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Competent / Confident communicator with an ability to establish good working relationships across all departments and with Customer and Regulatory Authority at all levels.
