This nursery has been thoughtfully designed, with separate rooms that run with structure, a large outdoor garden used daily, and enough space to plan meaningful activities without feeling rushed. As a Room Leader, you’ll take responsibility for your room, supporting both children and staff while maintaining consistent standards across care, learning, and organisation.

* You must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
* You must have recent experience working in a nursery setting
* You should be confident leading a room and managing a group of children
Key Job Details
* Salary: Up to £31,000 per year
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Contract: Full-time, permanent
* Setting: Private day nursery (0–5 years)

What you’ll need
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
* Confidence leading a room and supporting other practitioners
What you’ll do
* Lead the day-to-day running of your assigned room
* Plan and deliver activities in line with EYFS
* Build consistent routines that support development and behaviour
* Record observations and contribute to individual learning plans
* Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and hygiene standards
* Work with colleagues to ensure smooth transitions and consistent practice
