The Opportunity As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will take ownership of a growing territory, working closely with utilities, contractors, and industrial customers to deliver engineered solutions. You'll sell a specialist range of equipment including screw conveyors, screens, compactors, silos, and solids-handling systems used in wastewater, biowaste, and industrial processing environments. This role offers real exposure to high-value projects, autonomy in the field, and the chance to develop both your technical expertise and commercial skillset in a supportive, fast-moving organisation. What You'll Be Doing As the regional Technical Sales Engineer, you will: Develop new business across the Midlands and South of England Build long-term relationships with water utilities, Tier 1 contractors, and industrial operators Attend site visits, technical meetings, and industry events Understand client challenges and propose practical, engineered solutions Review specifications and drawings to support equipment selection Work closely with internal design, projects, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery What We're Looking For This role would suit a motivated engineer with a strong technical foundation and a desire to build a successful sales career. You'll ideally have: Experience in a Technical Sales Engineer, Applications Engineer, or similar technical role A good technical understanding and confidence reading engineering drawings Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with customers on site A proactive, self-driven approach with a genuine interest in engineering solutions The ambition to progress within a growing business Candidates with exposure to wastewater, process engineering, or materials handling equipment will be particularly well suited.
