We're looking for an experienced Good's In Operative to join us at our facility in Tamworth, Working 10am - 6pm, Monday to Friday. A specialist in the manufacture and distribution of cement and bitumen-based products to the world markets for over 40 years here at Instarmac we pride ourselves on our open communication.

How you'll make a difference: Manage the silo delivery driver induction database ensuring all drivers are listed with the correct induction data
Responsible for checking delivery drivers arriving on site have the Instarmac induction card and appear on the driver induction database
Responsible for completing Driver Silo Reports to track relevant information for deliveries covering permit requirements for handover of the delivery point
Prepare DSR sheets for night deliveries
Utilise silo display log daily to manage which silo the deliveries are allocated to and there is enough space in the silo to accept the delivery
Utilise silo display log daily to communicate to stock control any deliveries are overdue
Ensure products that require a sample are taken to the lab for testing before discharge can take place
Responsible for conducting final sign off checks with the delivery driver after discharge ensuring all paperwork is complete and silo access has been secured
Contact supply chain where the delivery arrives without paperwork to ensure what is being delivered is what is expected
Accurate booking in of all deliveries to ensure stock availability is correct for production
Communicating short deliveries, damages and failed products to stock control and QC
Maintain good housekeeping standards around the silo areas
Undertake duties in accordance with all relevant management systems and controls.
What you'll need: Experience in a Good's In function
Knowledge and understanding of the application of site safety rules to third party delivery drivers
Excellent communication skills
