What You Will Do
HGV Technician Supervisor
Hours
40 hours, 15:30 to midnight with a 30‑minute break; alternate Saturdays paid at time and a half.
Paying up to £27.00
Per week for a 40‑hour basic week (£56,160). With alternate Saturdays (£4,200) you can earn approximately c£60,360.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Supervise the shift technicians and co‑ordinate workload.
* Liaise with the Dealerpoint Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc.
* Diagnose and repair vehicles.
* Service vehicles to a high standard.
* Participate in call‑out and breakdown rota when required.
* Use diagnostic equipment.
* Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report required rectifications.
* Complete job cards clearly and accurately.
Essential Qualifications And Knowledge
* C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
* Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills.
* Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment.
* Clean driving licence – HGV would be an advantage.
