My client is currently going through an exciting time of growth and has recently won several long-term framework contracts across London & South East. There is an opportunity for a Bid Writer to join a high-performing bids & proposals team. They deliver a mix of internal and external planned maintenance works, EWI projects and fire safety schemes to clients in the housing, residential and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
* Receive, process, record and track all incoming tenders and alerts.
* Own internal tender/outcome tracking systems.
* Maintain all tendering/response portals with up-to-date company information and documents.
* Organise meetings, attendances and bid calendars/diaries.
* Assist with production of bid launch agendas and supporting information.
* Assist with pre-qualification/selection questionnaires/applications within deadlines.
* Support formatting and quality control of bid/tender applications and materials.
* Gather and maintain information relevant to company accreditations and update portals before expiry dates.
* Support production of accurate case studies and undertake site visits to gather information.
* Provide general administrative support in a timely manner.
* Coordinate communication across the bid team for each tender cycle.
* Conduct research projects as requested by the Bid Manager/Estimator.
* Maintain, source, and provide up-to-date information and documents from the Bid Library.
* Attend live sites to gather technical information for case studies.
* Support the clarifications process and its documentation.
* Utilise information from the bid library to generate posts on LinkedIn and other marketing resources.
* Other duties as reasonably required.
Skills and knowledge
* Experience as Bid Administrator or in an administrative role.
* Experience of marketing activities is desirable.
* Knowledge of a construction bid/procurement or business development environment is preferable.
* Experience in similar sectors/organisations.
* Ability to work both as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good verbal and written English with an excellent eye for detail.
