As a Quality Engineer within our PPR division, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring Client's products and services continue to exceed customer expectations. Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Developing, reviewing and coordinating Inspection & Test plans (ITPs) and Quality plans in accordance with internal, customer and international standards
* Collaborating with Production, Procurement and our Supply Chain to define inspection & test requirements for machining, welding, assembly, coating and other processes
* Reviewing & verifying vendor certification to ensure compliance with ITP's
* Supporting the NCR processes, facilitating root cause analysis and developing robust preventative actions to help maintain impressive Quality performance metrics
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance a culture of Safety, Quality and Environmental Protection across the organisation
* Engaging with suppliers via our supplier development program to drive continuous improvement and the reduction of non-conformances
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in the field of Quality, or a combination of experience & expertise in similar roles
* Detail and broad knowledge of quality process and engineering standard
* Experience developing, reviewing & coordinating ITP's and quality plans
* Knowledge and experience of rotating equipment would be advantageous
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on excellent customer service
* A methodical and organised approach to work
* Solid understanding of the application of root cause analysis tools (E.g. 5 Why, 8D)
