The Role - An industry leader in central plant heating and cooling seeks a Solutions Mechanical Engineer to work on large project specifications for decarbonisation of commercial buildings, including new builds and retrofits. You will collaborate with the sales team to specify high-efficiency, low-carbon hydronic chillers and heat pumps for projects such as office buildings, hospitals, government buildings, hotels, high-rise residential, district heat networks, shopping centres, data centres, and process industries. This team focuses on large megawatt projects utilizing heat recovery and hydronic loop systems.
Experience Required - You should be a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC experience, familiar with selecting, sizing, calculating, specifying, designing, advising, and pricing central plant heating and cooling systems. Knowledge of hydronic chilled water systems, chillers, and commercial heat pumps is highly desirable. Training is available for those experienced with standard HVAC, VRF/VRV, DX systems. Strong communication skills are essential for effective engagement with sales teams and clients.
