 
        
        Overview
Ancora House is an in‑patient child and adolescent mental health service, comprising 30 beds split across two wards: Coral and Indigo. It is a general adolescent unit that also supports young people with eating disorders. 
Position
Band 5 Staff Nurses at Ancora House, a rotational shift basis (days, nights and twilight shifts). 
Key Responsibilities
 * Provide the highest quality of care for our service users as part of a supportive, knowledgeable multi‑disciplinary team.
 * Work on a rotational shift basis covering days, nights and twilight shifts.
 * Participate in the excellent training and preceptorship programme.
Qualifications and Expectations
 * Understand and apply the 6 C’s in practice: Care; Compassion; Competence; Communication; Courage and Commitment.
 * Demonstrate the Trust’s Values through everyday actions and provide examples from work experience or personal life.
Induction and Training
All new starters commence in post on a fixed start date each month in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction/initial training requirements of the role.
