We are working with a leading broadcast services organisation to recruit a NOC Engineer to join its 24/7 operations team.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor transmission and network systems within a live operations environment
* Perform quality control checks across inbound and outbound audio/video signals
* Respond to alarms, faults, and operational incidents
* Coordinate services with customers, engineering teams, and third-party providers
* Support occasional-use services and live broadcast operations
* Assist with preventative maintenance and operational documentation updates
Skills & Experience
* Experience within broadcast operations, NOC, MCR, or transmission environments
* Knowledge of broadcast signal standards including HD-SDI, DVB-S/S2, MPEG, and ASI
* Understanding of RF/uplink systems and streaming technologies
* Experience working within fast‑paced operational environments
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
