Overview

Redcar and Cleveland College is a vibrant, forward-facing college recently awarded Outstanding by Ofsted. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Lecturer to join our Early Years team reporting to our Curriculum Manager of Health, Early Years, Access and Distance Learning. This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and dynamic team at Redcar and Cleveland College, an Outstanding provider of further education.


Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to a high standard to ensure students receive the best possible learning experience.
* Design schemes of work, produce high-quality learning materials and assignments, and provide constructive feedback through both formative and summative assessments.
* Support students as a personal tutor, offering educational advice and guidance, and monitor progress through individual learning plans.
* Contribute to the wider success of the programme by assisting with student recruitment and marketing activities, supervising placements and educational visits, and working with colleagues and employers to review and develop the curriculum.
* Take an active role in team meetings, professional development, and the evaluation of teaching and learning to ensure continued delivery of outstanding results in Early Years provision.

* Schedule: Hourly paid – various.
