Staff Nurse – Basingstoke and Winchester
Blue Sky Marketing invites applications for a Band 5 Adult Staff Nurse. This role will support patient care at our three sites: Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover. The position offers in‑house training, an excellent induction programme and opportunities in Emergency, Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care.
Responsibilities
* Deliver competent, individualized nursing care in line with agreed policies.
* Conduct assessments, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
* Monitor patients’ health, report changes to senior staff.
* Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement projects.
* Support and mentor junior staff, including student nurses and health‑care assistants.
* Manage a caseload, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team.
* Administer medications and provide patient/family education.
* Cover a 24‑hour shift pattern, including overnight duty.
Qualifications & Experience
* Current NMC PIN registration or awaiting PIN.
* UK RN experience; experience in placements or clinical settings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in Emergency, Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care preferred.
* Knowledge of clinical audit and quality improvement principles.

Salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (pro‑rate). Contract: Permanent. Pattern: Full‑time/Part‑time. Location: Basingstoke and Winchester Hospital, Aldermaston Road, Basingstoke, RG24 9NA.
