The Role
As Head of Apprenticeships, you will take full ownership of establishing and growing a brand-new Apprenticeship division. You’ll:

Develop the overall Apprenticeship strategy, systems, and quality frameworks to ensure compliance with Ofsted, ESFA, and funding regulations.

Design, implement, and oversee Apprenticeship programmes aligned with employer demand and sector priorities.
*
Lead on quality assurance, curriculum development, and learner experience to achieve Ofsted ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ outcomes.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, funding bodies, and key stakeholders.
*
Recruit, coach, and inspire a new team to deliver excellence and sustainability across provision.
*
Monitor performance, compliance, and learner success rates, reporting directly to senior leadership.

Drive continuous improvement and innovation across all apprenticeship programmes.
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be an ambitious and strategic apprenticeship leader who thrives on challenge and innovation. You’ll bring:

Proven experience in Apprenticeship leadership, ideally having launched or scaled apprenticeship provision.

In-depth understanding of Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework (EIF), ESFA funding rules, and Apprenticeship compliance.

A successful track record of delivering high-quality, compliant apprenticeship programmes.

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance quality and growth.

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
