We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Manager to lead our dedicated team at Benholm Care Home. This is a unique opportunity to take the helm of a well-established home that provides high-quality care across a range of needs, including dementia, end-of-life, respite, and residential care.
As Registered Nurse Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall clinical leadership, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations of the home. You'll inspire and guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, dignified care that enhances the lives of our residents and supports their families. You'll also play a key role in maintaining compliance, driving continuous improvement, and fostering a warm, inclusive culture where staff and residents thrive.

What You'll Be Doing- Leadership & Service Management
* Provide strong, visible clinical and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care.
* Oversee all aspects of the home's operations, including staffing, budgeting, compliance, and resident satisfaction.
* Build a culture of accountability, openness, and continuous learning.
* Lead by example, promoting our values and person-centred ethos in every interaction.
Clinical Oversight & Quality Assurance
* Ensure clinical excellence across all care types, including dementia and end-of-life care.
* Lead clinical governance, medication management, and nursing practice standards.
* Monitor and improve care quality through audits, feedback, and regulatory compliance (CQC).
* Work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and residents to ensure personalised care planning and responsive support.
Team Development & Culture
* Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing nursing and care team.
* Support staff through regular supervision, clinical training, and development conversations.
* Foster a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
Governance & Compliance
* Maintain robust safeguarding, risk management, and governance systems.
* Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and internal policies.
* Use digital tools (e.g. RADAR, PCS, Camascope) to streamline care delivery and reporting.
What We're Looking ForQualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with active NMC registration.
* Proven experience in a Registered Manager or senior clinical leadership role within a care home setting.
* Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and clinical governance.
* Experience managing services for residents with complex needs, including dementia and palliative care.
