An international in‑house legal team is seeking an experienced English‑qualified Senior Litigator to join their EMEA Disputes function on a 12‑month secondee basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on a major, high‑profile UK class action within a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing a large‑scale disclosure exercise and supporting the wider case team on a novel and complex dispute. You’ll collaborate closely with in‑house litigation, eDiscovery and cross‑functional teams, as well as external counsel.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the design, implementation, and oversight of a large‑scale disclosure process.
* Work closely with in‑house eDiscovery teams and external counsel.
* Provide strategic advice on disclosure issues, including preservation, privilege and redactions.
* Advise internal stakeholders on litigation risks, strategy and process.
* Draft and review briefs, correspondence, memos, and other legal documentation.
* Support other contentious matters as required.
Experience Required
* English‑qualified with approximately 12+ years’ PQE.
* Strong background in large‑scale commercial litigation.
* Proven experience managing complex disclosure exercises, including protocol design and electronic document review/production.
* Experience in the Competition Appeal Tribunal (CAT) is beneficial but not essential.
* Background in a leading London law firm and/or an established in‑house team preferred.
