Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician
Pay, Hours and Benefits
* Salary: £34,000
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
* Benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays; life insurance cover; profit related pay; Employee Assistance Programme

This role is commutable from the following areas: Northampton, Kettering, Wellingborough, Corby, Rugby.
Role Overview
This business operates in a very niche and rewarding industry, working closely with their customer to meet each customer’s individual needs. The role is varied, with two days never the same. The business seeks a highly motivated team player who wants to make a difference to someone’s life by improving their mobility. There is a positive, friendly and encouraging family culture across the business. An excellent induction and training program and ongoing full support will be provided to enable success in the role.
Candidate Requirements
* Experienced Automotive Mechanic or Engineer with extensive experience in Vehicle Mechanics, Electrics and Body Structure
* Undertaken a structured training scheme or recognised Apprenticeship
* Be flexible and able to work to high standards
* Hold a recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Mechanics or a related subject
* Sufficient engineering experience to carry out light fabrication work, ideally including MIG welding
* Good understanding of auto electrical wiring systems; IMI level 3 Electric/Hybrid vehicle training certificate (ideal but not essential)
* A desire to contribute to the ongoing success of the branch
* Strong ability to provide excellent customer service
* Hold a full clean driving license
Key Responsibilities
* Provide a professional installation service for all company products
* Travel as required to various customer and car dealership premises
* A suitable vehicle and tools will be provided
* Deal with customers in a friendly and helpful manner
* Work to a weekly and daily schedule
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard
