Senior staff nurse role on the Adolescent ward, on the 12th floor of our state-of-the-art hospital in Euston Road. Support leadership development in a general Adolescent ward with access to a visible management team and Clinical Practice Facilitators, plus opportunities for career and educational development, flexible working hours and study leave.
Responsibilities
Main duties of the job
* Join the Adolescent ward team as a motivated, experienced staff nurse.
* Demonstrate experience and skills in adolescent care and provide leadership, development and organisational skills to coordinate safe, efficient delivery of care to this patient group.

Person Specification
Knowledge and Qualifications
* Essential: Registered Nurse Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register (Adult or Paediatric)
* Accredited teaching course
* Relevant Teaching course
* Attained Bachelor Degree in Nursing or working towards it
* Desirable: BSc or working towards
Experience
* Essential: A Band 6 nurse with clinical experience within an acute setting; Adult/Adolescent/Paediatric specialty (or equivalent); Experience of phlebotomy and cannulation; Proficient in advanced IV administration
Communication
* Essential: Communicates effectively verbally, in writing and in electronic formats
Specific Requirements
* Essential: Able to articulate and specify reasons for choosing to work with Paediatrics and Adolescents patients
