This is a full time, permanent position working 45 hours per week, working one week 7am 4:30pm and the following week 8:30am 6pm. Saturdays as required subject to the business needs, paid as overtime
Youll receive 25 days holiday per annum, rising to a maximum of 30 days as a result of length of service. Youll also have a training program tailored to you, taking you to Master Technician status, healthcare cash back scheme and an employer contribution on pension to 5%
In return, this Productive Workshop Supervisor role:
Youll be working for a main dealer in a warm and busy environment completing service, maintenance and repairs to LCVs and Vans to manufacture agreed timescales. These are sensible time frames, not those picked from thin air.
The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)
Supervise the Technicians and coordinate workloads
Liaise with the Depot Manager regarding training needs, KPIs
Assist with Routine (and preventative) maintenance
Use Diagnostic equipment
MOT preparation
Scheduled servicing to DVSA standards
Requirements:
Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
Ideally youll have experience working on Vans, Sprinters, Transits etc.
Full, clean driving licence
Additional accreditations such as an EV qualification would be desirable,
