Recruiting for a property company, looking an Accounts Assistant to join them for a 3 month contract.
* Salary: £35,000 day rate equivalent
* Location: London
* Hybrid: 2 days in 3 from home
What can you expect?
* Collate and input all invoices received each month onto excel for recommendation & payment
* Ensure accuracy and correct budget coding
* Deal with daily supplier / invoice queries
* Perform monthly bank reconciliation
* Review monthly VAT returns
* Deal with Import /Export VAT Duty
* Ensuring Irrecoverable VAT correctly declared / not claimed
* Submit monthly CIS returns ensuring full compliance across Group
* Partaking in group annual external audit
* Performing ad-hoc reconciliations as and when required
* Liaising with internal & external stakeholders
What skills can you bring?
* Proven relevant experience working in accounts teams (minimum 2 years).
* Experienced in VAT & CIS returns.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel user.
* High attention to detail (essential).
* Inquisitive mindset, keen to get involved in all areas of finance.
* Effective communicator with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Organised mind-set with the ability to multi-task.
* Adaptable, flexible and open to learning new skills, developing expertise and taking instruction.
