Business Development Manager (On-the-Road)

We are seeking a commercially minded
Business Development Manager
to join a growing national sales team. This is a field-based role focused on developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and driving revenue growth across your assigned territory.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will play a key role in expanding market presence and delivering measurable commercial success.
The role:
Drive New Business Development
* Identify, target, and secure new clients within the construction sector
* Build a strong pipeline of opportunities across your territory
* Generate leads through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach
Develop Client Relationships
* Build long-term partnerships with contractors, developers, and decision-makers
* Understand client needs and provide tailored commercial solutions
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Sales & Revenue Growth
* Achieve and exceed revenue targets
* Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
* Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline updates
Market & Territory Management
* Develop and execute territory sales plans
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
* Represent the business professionally in the field
What We're Looking For
We are looking for candidates with:
Proven B2B sales experience
Demonstrated experience selling
products or services into the construction industry
Strong track record of winning new business
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
Self-motivation and comfort working in a field-based role
