Senior Social Worker – Safeguarding Team

What you will do:
* Conduct Core Assessments, pre-birth assessments, and risk assessments.
* Perform Section 47 Child Protection investigations.
* Draft court statements and attend court proceedings.
* Complete Section 7 and 37 reports to aid court processes.
* Represent the authority in court to provide crucial evidence.
* Conduct home visits for child safety monitoring and protection.
* Convene and lead core group meetings.
* Liaise effectively with other professionals.
* Undertake joint investigations and interviews with the police.
* Initiate and manage care proceedings.
* Implement and routinely review Care Plans.
* Oversee supervised visits.
* Attend case conferences and strategy meetings.
* Develop Child in Need plans and follow up on them.
