Join our Career Centre as a Leadership Career Coach, supporting a diverse community of experienced professionals across Executive MBA, Sloan, and part-time Masters in Finance programmes. You will deliver high-quality, one-to-one coaching and career development support, helping students navigate complex career transitions, articulate their professional narrative, and achieve their ambitions in a global market. Working at the heart of the student experience, you will design and deliver impactful career skills workshops and contribute to innovative, blended learning initiatives.
You'll bring strong coaching expertise and experience working with senior professionals, with a deep understanding of executive-level career pathways and labour market dynamics. With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will build trusted relationships across students, alumni, and internal stakeholders, while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team.
Main Responsibilities
1. Student engagement with managing their career (% students accessing coaching, % attendance rate for workshops, effectiveness of outreach and data collection, % newsletter opening rates)
2. Service quality to students “world class” (Coaching feedback, % of notes completed, student feedback on workshops, contribution to successful delivery of career initiatives in a timely manner)
3. Employment outcomes & reporting (reporting rate, outreach, outcomes)
4. Alumni engagement & Global insights (using alumni voice in workshops, unique LBS insights e.g. nontraditional paths or international experiences captured and shared)
5. Competent, collaborative and inspired team (Supervision/CPD attendance, conferences, shared learning, feedback on behaviours)
6. Strong cross team working relationships with key stakeholders and other Career Management team members
7. Champion change by role modelling the behavior expected from all colleagues and consider the impact of change on all processes, systems, processes, and people to ensure appropriate steps are taken for successful implementation.
Who we are looking for
8. Coaching, CIPD or similar qualification or extensive coaching experience with senior level professionals.
9. Understanding of the industries and markets that LBS executive students target, including knowledge of recruitment at that level, job profiles, headhunters, and career pathways. Passionate about companies, markets, and the changing world of work
10. Ability to maintain high levels of energy even at peak delivery times
11. Commitment to continuous quality improvement and a proactive desire to ensure a world-class end-to-end customer experience
12. Collaborative team-working mind-set; flexible approach to contribute to the wider work of the Career Centre
13. Comfortable using CRM systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams; Zoom
14. Flexibility to accommodate delivery for working professionals

At London Business School, we support Smart Working - a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work-life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week to foster a vibrant, collaborative community.
For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus at least 2 days per week with the need for flexibility based on business needs.
We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00-15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time - a flexible, one-hour slot, within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work
