A leading UK engineering, infrastructure and professional services organisation is recruiting graduates to join its Engineering Graduate Programme, working on projects that modernise national infrastructure, deliver low-carbon solutions and support a more sustainable future.
This programme is designed for graduates who want hands-on responsibility from day one, flexibility to shape their development, and a clear route into a permanent engineering role.
The Programme
This is a two-year rotational programme with a strong focus on autonomy and personal development. Rather than following a fixed structure, graduates co-design their rotations, selecting specialist areas aligned to their interests and career goals.
Key Criteria
Education
* A degree in any engineering discipline (e.g. mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, energy, building services or related)
You will:
* Complete two six-month rotations in year one
* Spend year two specialising in a chosen engineering discipline
* Rotate across project delivery, power and grid, energy systems, infrastructure, consulting and specialist engineering teams
* Work on live projects supporting critical infrastructure, energy transition and sustainability initiatives
Projects span design, modelling, site delivery, infrastructure development and carbon reduction, across both public and private sector environments.
What You’ll Do
As an Engineering Graduate, you will:
* Support the delivery of real engineering and infrastructure projects
* Assist with modelling, technical drawings, analysis and site data
* Contribute to energy efficiency, sustainability and performance improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with engineering, commercial, operations and consulting teams
* Use data and insight to support technical and commercial decision-making
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused programme designed to build both technical depth and commercial awareness.

Your development sits at the core of the programme. You will benefit from:
* Technical masterclasses and project-based learning
* Leadership and behavioural skills training
* Structured mentoring and supportive line management
* Active support towards professional recognition and chartership with a relevant engineering institution
You will join a collaborative graduate community and gain the experience required to progress confidently towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
