Overview
Graphic Designer II role at Certinia. The Brand + Creative function supports the brand, creative, and copy output for the company. You will work with a smart, supportive team focused on getting things done and delivering design that builds brand awareness and drives acquisition.
Certinia delivers a Services-as-a-Business platform for services operations, including PSA, CS, and Financial Management, delivered on Salesforce. Headquartered in Austin, TX with global presence.
What you will do in this role
Design Execution & Production:
* Design and produce a wide range of visual assets for digital platforms, including the website, landing pages, social media, email campaigns, and advertising (e.g., icons, illustrations, banners).
* Create marketing and sales collateral, such as presentations, case studies, and event materials, ensuring brand consistency.
* Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand visual representations (e.g., infographics, product visualizations).
* Develop visual elements for video content (e.g., motion graphics, title cards, thumbnails) in partnership with the broader creative team.
* Prepare design files for outputs, ensuring technical specifications and quality standards for both digital and print.
Brand Guardianship & Consistency:
* Adhere to and help maintain the company's brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
* Contribute to the evolution of design systems and style guides, documenting new elements and best practices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, sales) to understand project requirements and deliver on design objectives.
* Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and iterate designs as needed.
* Participate in brainstorming, offer creative solutions and insights, and present work for leadership buy-in.
* Provide and receive design feedback with peers and cross-functional partners to align on vision and goals.
* Bring the latest industry trends, ideas, inspiration, and creativity to all work.
* Manage creative output from contract designers and outside agencies.
What you need to be successful in this role
* 5+ years as a designer in a creative agency and in-house settings
* Degree in design or related field
* Strong communication and presentation skills; people-oriented
* Expertise with creative tools such as Figma and other relevant software
* Design systems thinker with strong attention to detail
* Experience managing large projects; ability to design to business and technical requirements and adapt to changing directions
* Portfolio of marketing and brand-oriented work that demonstrates customer focus
* Experience with digital projects including email templates, animated GIFs, ads, and webinar graphics
* Experience with content and event design
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment
