Purpose of Role The Head of Quality of Curriculum & Teaching is a senior leadership role responsible for driving excellence across all aspects of educational provision within the nursery. Working closely and collaboratively with both Nursery Directors and the Nursery Manager, the post holder will ensure the nursery not only meets but consistently exceeds the Ofsted Early Years Inspection Framework, with a particular focus on Quality of Education and Achievement. This is a highly visible, hands-on role. The successful candidate will role model best practice daily within the rooms, demonstrating an exceptionally strong work ethic that sets the standard for the entire team. Through leadership by example, they will create a culture of accountability, ambition and continuous improvement across the nursery. The role also includes acting as the main parent liaison, leading safeguarding, health and safety, children’s wellbeing, inclusivity, behaviour and attitudes, and the development of apprentices and practitioners.
