Role:
Our client is looking for immediate, temporary, Payroller to assist them for 3 months. You be will be responsible for the following duties:
* Directly manage payroll for the Northern region, ensuring employee data is accurate, up to date, and shared with third-party providers in a timely manner
* Maintain a high level of accuracy across all earnings and deductions, ensuring complete and error-free pay runs
* Deliver all pay runs within agreed deadlines, allowing sufficient time for review, adjustments, and processing
* Provide timely and accurate payroll reporting to the business and relevant third parties
* Oversee monthly payroll accounting, including journal postings, leave accruals, variance analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Ensure compliance with all payroll-related tax obligations (e.g. PSA, P11D) and regulatory requirements
* Build and maintain effective relationships with third-party payroll providers and contractors to ensure accurate processing and continuous improvement
* Partner with the People Experience team on key initiatives such as year-end pay reviews and gender pay reporting, while ensuring ongoing data accuracy
* Conduct regular audits and checks on payroll data, driving process improvements locally and globally for consistency
* Collaborate with the Southern Hemisphere Payroll Officer to ensure coverage, alignment, and global consistency
* Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on payroll matters
* Respond to internal business queries in a timely and professional manner
* Provide support and backup to the wider finance team as required
Profile:
The successful, temporary Payroller will have at least 3+ years experience within a similar role.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.

Salary & Benefits:
The temporary Payroll roles will be paying circa £20 - £25 per hour, dependant on experience.
