Senior / Principal Civil Design Engineer – Water (AMP)

We're currently recruiting a Senior or Principal Civil Design Engineer to support AMP water and wastewater projects as part of a busy integrated design team.
This is a 6‐month rolling contract with a high probability of work through to AMP9, offering genuine continuity rather than a short-term patch.

* Contract: 6 months rolling
* Rate: £DOE per hour
* IR35: Outside
* Location: West Yorkshire – 3 days per week in office
* Sector: UK Water (Clean & Wastewater)
Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver civil design on water and wastewater projects
* Work across feasibility, concept and detailed design
* Coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams
* Check and approve designs, mentor junior engineers
* Ensure compliance with UK water industry standards
* Support AMP capital delivery programmes
Experience Required:
* Proven UK water sector experience
* Strong AMP project delivery background
* Civil design experience across water / wastewater infrastructure
* Senior or Principal‐level capability
* Comfortable working in a hybrid, office‐based environment
