GSL Education is currently looking for a nurturing and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting primary school in Waterlooville, dedicated to helping children thrive both emotionally and academically.

Your Role as an SEMH Teaching Assistant Will Include:
* Providing tailored one-to-one and group support to pupils with SEMH needs
* Assisting teachers in delivering a curriculum that is both therapeutic and engaging
* Encouraging emotional regulation and building trusted relationships with students
* Supporting the development of positive behaviour strategies
* Collaborating with therapists, support staff and families to ensure holistic care

* Is calm, empathetic, and resilient in challenging situations
* Understands the complexities of emotional and behavioural needs in young people
* Has a genuine commitment to inclusion and student wellbeing
* Is keen to learn and willing to receive specialist training (no prior experience necessary)
* Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team
