Payments Assistant (Hybrid) needed in West Bridgford, £12.85ph PAYE - Reference: OR11234
* Working hours will be from 8:00-9:00am and finishing at 4:00/5:00pm, once fully trained. During training, start time will be between 08:30-09:00am.
* Once trained, the worker will have the option to work from home 2-3 days a week.
1. Perform finance and clerical tasks according to defined business standards and processes, maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding.
2. Create, process, and examine purchase orders and invoices to ensure compliance with Financial Regulations, departmental procedures, and statutory guidance.
3. Clarify and resolve queries from suppliers, service users, external agencies, and staff related to this role.
4. Process payments and recover overpayments from internal carers using bespoke IT software.
5. Undertake financial assessments for carers meeting eligibility criteria for specific allowances.
6. Provide advice and guidance to internal and external customers within the scope of this role.
7. Maintain manual and computerized information systems, ensuring efficient processing of financial data, reports, and statistics.
8. Perform accountancy and reconciliation duties.
This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
