InvestorRelations is a key part of the Group’s central functions acting as a conduit between the company and the financial markets.The function forms part of the Group Finance team and interacts closely with other central functions and across the business.
The purpose of the IR Manager role is to act as deputy to the IR Director and play an active role in delivering the IR strategy for the Group. As part of a small team, the IR Manager will be involved in all aspects of investor relations ranging from scheduling roadshows to updating financial models to producing content for regular financial communications and the annual report.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Drafting quarterly, half-year and full year results statements
2. Designing and writing presentation slides in powerpoint
3. Communicating with sell side analysts, investors and the company’s advisers
4. Support the production of the annual report
5. Producing and maintaining an active list of investor targets
6. Maintaining an up to date and accurate record of analyst consensus expectations
7. Standing in for the IR Director in their absence including presenting to CEO, CFO and the Executive Committee
8. Manage production and adherence to the annual IR calendar

Expereince & Qualifications:
22. Degree educated
23. Strong financial background and knowledge of public markets
24. At least 5-8 years of investor relations experience working in a PLC or investment banking / similar environment
25. Potential to move up into the IR Director role over time
Additional Requirements:
Role will require a degree of foreign travel predominantly within the UK, Europe and US to see investors and meet people across the businesses.
