Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40000
Shift: Double Days - Monday - Friday
Location: Padstow, Cornwall, Newquay
We're recruiting a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established industrial manufacturer where engineering is taken seriously. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping production running at its best through a mix of planned preventative maintenance and fast-paced reactive fault finding.
Responsibilities
* Work on a wide range of electrical and mechanical machinery, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, and implementing improvements that reduce downtime and boost reliability.
* Involvement in new installations, equipment upgrades, and PLC-controlled systems, providing technical challenge beyond day-to-day tasks.
* Be practical, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a close-knit engineering team.
Requirements
* Have an electrical engineering qualification.
* Electrical and mechanical skills.
* Industrial/manufacturing background.
* Diagnosing faults and repairing equipment.
* Willing to work a permanent night shift.
