💡 What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll support the delivery of consents and legal agreements across a range of major infrastructure projects. With guidance from experienced surveyors and managers, you will:
Assist in acquiring freehold/leasehold property, easements, wayleaves and statutory consents
Work with land agents, grantors, solicitors and internal project teams
Help manage negotiations for installation, alteration or retention of network assets
Support planning, environmental and legal processes related to capital projects
Maintain strong relationships with planning authorities, statutory bodies and external partners
Represent the Consents team in meetings and workshops
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
Keep safety at the heart of everything you do
🎯 What You'll Bring
Required:
GCSEs (Maths, English, Science - Grade C+ or equivalent)
A Levels / Level 4 qualification (or willingness to achieve equivalent)
Strong safety awareness
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Self‑motivation and a team‑focused mindsetDesirable (training can be provided):
Experience or knowledge in surveying, land rights, planning, or utilities
Understanding of property law, wayleaves, agriculture, or valuations
Awareness of legislation affecting utilities and electricity networks
