Long Eaton Day Services is a mixed gender service for individuals aged 16 and above, specializing in supporting those with learning disabilities, complex health needs, physical disabilities, and autism.
Our Day Services focus on demonstrating outcomes through activities developed with input from professionals, parents, carers, and service users.
Our services are led by three key disciplines: occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and speech and language therapy. This multidisciplinary approach develops tailored activity plans to maximize individuals' potential, with input from a dedicated clinical team. The service operates from 8 am to 8 pm, Monday to Friday, offering flexibility for service users and their families.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide direct clinical care, including assessments, treatment, and management of service users. You will develop OT treatment programs based on assessments and diagnoses, considering associated risks, within a multidisciplinary team.
Occupational Therapy Directorate
Led by our occupational therapy directors, supporting over 150 OTs and 300 OT support staff, we foster support, service development, and involvement in specialist interest groups.
Each service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to guide evidence-based practice and develop occupational therapy pathways.
Our team members are encouraged to participate in service model development, leveraging the expertise of clinical leads.
