Job Overview
We are seeking a Physiotherapist with recent relevant clinical experience and a passion for working in the healthcare of Older People. This well-established role requires flexibility to work across the team at Queens Medical Centre or City campus of NUH.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills, including acute experience in core areas such as Respiratory, Healthcare of the Older Person, Neurology, and MSK, whether inpatient (Trauma and Orthopaedics) or outpatient MSK.
You will have the opportunity to work in various team aspects, including Healthcare of the Elderly at both QMC and City Hospital Campuses, Complex Dementia Care, Elderly Mental Health, and the Acute Medical Admissions Unit.
This is a permanent, part-time position. Working days can be discussed further at interview.
Main Duties
* Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams in a large acute teaching hospital setting.
* Manage and support Band 5 staff, support staff, and students, developing leadership, managerial, and teaching skills.
* Participate in weekend and emergency overnight on-call duties, with previous respiratory on-call experience being essential.

Training & Qualifications
* BSc honours or equivalent in Physiotherapy
* Evidence of maintaining professional competence through CPD
* State Registered and HCPC registered
* Post-graduate training in specialty
* Member of CIG
* First line management course
* Clinical Educators Course
Experience
* Broad junior rotational experience in acute inpatient settings
* Specific knowledge and skills in respiratory, neurology, and orthopaedics
* Experience in practice evaluation and performance appraisal
* Previous Band 6 experience
* Audit experience
