As the Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for the daily management and processing of cash allocations for your customers, across multiple currencies, in line with agreed timelines ensuring accurate postings are made. Monthly running of the full credit control teams aged debtor reports for their monthly chasing. Holding bi-weekly calls internally and externally for the maintenance and reconciliation of our largest customer accounts. Review and documentation of current processes to assist with the global order to collection project. Reporting to the Global AR Manager, this role requires a professional and experienced credit controller working within a wider team, responsible for a designated key accounts comprising of both UK and International customers. You will be working to maximise cash flow, whilst minimising the bad debt risk and maintaining significant external relationships. Responsibilities will include: Accountable for the debtor’s ledger, which is billed in multiple currencies and targeted for maximising cash flow, minimising bad debts, and providing high levels of customer service. Responsible for the Credit Control, recording all customer contact and follow up actions ensuring all agreed procedures are adhered to and monthly targets are achieved. Monthly bulk invoicing and backing information for key accounts to ensure timely and accurate collections. Responsible for the cash allocation of incoming payments and addressing unallocated payments and associated disputes that may arise from these payments. To ensure all monthly activities are completed to agreed levels, with excellent attention to detail e.g., customer statement production, aged debt monthly reporting, unallocated cash.
