Stroke Team Registered Nurse
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to join our Stroke team. This is an exciting opportunity to support and manage patient‑centred care within the acute stroke unit.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct nursing care to acute stroke patients within a 24‑bedded unit.
* Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based care.
* Support the team in driving local and national stroke care standards.
* Lead safe and effective person‑centred care for patients from admission until discharge.
Requirements
* Registered nurse with current UK registration.
* Prior experience in acute stroke or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
* Commitment to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme before appointment.
* Proof of the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Working Hours
Full‑time (36 hours per week) over 7 days, including weekend and out‑of‑hours shifts.
