TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work in the Chertsey, Surrey area, specializing in ultra-high-end mansions for a private property management company. The role involves working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with shifts starting at 8 or 9 am and finishing at 4 or 5 pm, with ample overtime opportunities. Weekend work on a shift rota (approximately 1 in 4 weekends) is required.
This position demands flexibility during the busy season from May to October regarding hours and days worked.
Salary: £40,000 (Overtime after 40 hours at time and a half)

Key responsibilities include:
* Operation & maintenance of H&V plant, including pumps
* Operation & maintenance of swimming pool & Jacuzzi systems
* Responding to breakdowns
* Undertaking scheduled maintenance
* Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair or replacement of equipment
* Managing stock & supplies of equipment
* Providing technical support to colleagues and assisting others
* Maintaining a safe working environment
* Ensuring professional conduct with confidentiality
* Liaising with managers, supervisors, and colleagues for efficient service
* Delivering high customer service standards
* Providing cover during colleagues' absences
* Adhering to all health and safety policies
* Participating in seasonal shift & on-call rota
* Performing any other duties as required

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
* Fully qualified and experienced mechanical engineer
* NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing & heating
* BEng or Level 2 diploma in mechanical, production, or electrical engineering
* Level 2 diploma in H&V
* Experience in building or facilities maintenance
* Technical knowledge relevant to the role
* Ability to work under pressure
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written
