Senior/Lead Construction Planner - Energy Sector Lead the planning and execution of major infrastructure projects. Randstad seek a highly experienced Construction Planner to initially support two key client tenders (3-4 months, hybrid role), followed by ongoing project planning within the Energy sector portfolio. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust, cost-loaded construction schedules (Primavera P6) for a portfolio of Energy sector projects. Integrate multi-disciplinary input, managing risks, and facilitating stakeholder buy-in. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project controls teams. Ensure compliance with Costain, client, and contractual requirements. Assess delays and support applications for Extensions of Time (EOT). Contribute to change management and schedule risk analysis. Requirements: HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent experience. CSCS Managers Card or equivalent. Project planning & scheduling qualifications (or demonstrable experience). Experience across the project lifecycle (EPC/EPCm). Experience on brownfield sites delivering projects for Transmission clients (National Grid experience preferred). Proven ability to build cost and resource-loaded plans, liaising with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in Earned Value Analysis and schedule risk analysis tools. Knowledge of industry standard contracts and NGET scheduling standard (NG/ET/SR193 a plus).
