The successful candidate will be expected to work on their own projects from start to finish, creating cabinetry and furniture for all rooms in the home. You will choose the wood from our store and make the furniture up to preparing it for polishing and painting by our dedicated painting team in our workshop. Not forgetting the design, creation and installing of beautiful secret drawers, which you will build into the furniture itself, typically with hand-cut dovetails and finished to the same high standard as the visible parts of your finished furniture. You will have the support of an experienced team. You should be able to read technical drawings and produce cutting lists. You must be proficient in the setting up and use of all types of woodworking machinery and hand-tools and have a sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of cabinet making and joinery methods and techniques.
