Head Chef - Deluxe Boutique Hotel Berkshire 60k
Salary up to £60,000 and approximately £3,500 service charge
Hours- approx. 45 hours per week

The Head Chef is responsible for managing the team and kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and cooked to the highest standard, in line with the hotels menu, quality, and hygiene standards. This position requires a strong culinary skill set, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
You will work closely with the Executive chef
Please note, the hotel is not on a public transport route, so its advised to have your own daily transport
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Inspire kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes with consistency.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet established standards.
Assist with menu planning, inventory control, and ordering of ingredients.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to ensure their development.
Skills & Competencies:
Proven and stable experience as a Head Chef ideally in high-end hotel or restaurant settings at min 2/3AA rosettes
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Passion for food and creativity in menu design and presentation.
Professional culinary qualifications or equivalent experience preferred.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
