Sales Manager
Location: Avonmouth
Salary: £41,257 up to 20% performance bonus £6,000 car allowance
Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours (8-4 or 9-5)
The Role
As a Sales Manager, you'll be out in the field driving new business, building strong relationships, and securing commercial contracts. This role is all about momentum - proactive outreach, confident engagement, and turning opportunities into revenue. You'll own your territory, shape your pipeline, and make a direct impact on commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Field prospecting – Generate new business through proactive, face to face engagement and local outreach.
* Target achievement – Consistently hit and exceed new business goals.
* Pipeline management – Build, track, and convert a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting and CRM discipline.
* High impact pitching – Deliver compelling proposals that clearly demonstrate value.
* Opportunity identification – Use market insight and local visibility to uncover new revenue opportunities.
What You'll Bring
* A proactive prospector confident in face to face engagement and cold outreach.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
* Effective territory planning and CRM driven pipeline discipline.
* Solid understanding of B2B sales, pricing, commercial terms, and competitive positioning.
* Proven success in a field based new business role with self generated leads.
* Experience selling contract based or service led solutions in high interaction environments.
