Salary: £26,295 - £27,182 per year pro rata

Contract Type: Permanent

Our team provide a positive difference to people with varying care needs in our local community. We are committed to delivering the highest standards of care to people to help them remain as independent as possible and safe in their own homes. We are looking for someone to join our team supporting individuals with daily lifeline tasks in a person centre way. Working on rota pattern covering 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm, our team provides support to people throughout the Kintyre peninsula. This post is based on the island of Gigha.

We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates a caring and compassionate nature with the ability to adapt to changes with ease. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, resourceful and eager to learn new skills. A driving licence is not essential however would be beneficial.

The candidate will be required to register with the SSSC.

An SVQ 3 in a relevant care-related subject or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge with a commitment to obtaining an SVQ3 within 2 years is also required.
