12 MTH COMPLIANCE CONTRACT – AML EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Compliance Recruitment Solutions is recruiting for a professional services firm located in Coventry, UK. The role is a 12‑month maternity cover contract.
About the Role
Ref: 4146D. Our client is looking to hire a compliance professional with AML experience to manage the firm’s regulatory obligations and day‑to‑day compliance activities.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain a compliance program aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Develop policies, procedures, and controls and maintain a compliance calendar for scheduled reviews.
* Stay updated on laws, regulations, and best practices; assess regulatory changes, recommend adjustments and ensure documented compliance.
* Develop and enforce internal policies; conduct regular internal audits and reviews, report findings to partners, and provide employee training on compliance matters.
* Identify and assess compliance risks; maintain a risk register, prioritise high‑risk areas, and recommend mitigation strategies.
* Prepare compliance reports for senior management, regulators and external stakeholders; keep accurate records of policies, audit findings and activities.
* Assist with broad office duties including facilities management and HR & recruitment support.
Qualifications
* AML experience and familiarity with Data Privacy / GDPR.
* Willingness to learn additional areas such as Health & Safety.
* Prepared to perform up to 50% office management duties and available for an immediate start.
Location & Working Arrangements
The firm is located on the outskirts of Coventry, close to rail links and major trunk roads. Regular office attendance is expected, with 1–2 days per week eligible for work‑from‑home.
