The Copthorne Hotel Aberdeen is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our Maintenance team. This is a crucial role when it comes to upkeep of the hotel. Our Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for, responding to guest repair requests and performing maintenance activities on equipment around the hotel.
Key Information: Role: Maintenance Assistant
Hours of work: 40 hrs weekly

Maintenance Assistant key responsibility: Providing day to day maintenance and upkeep of the interior and exterior areas of the hotel.
Working with the housekeeping team to ensure bedrooms are maintained to a high standard.
Assisting with compliance and health and safety checks for the hotel to ensure we are in line with regulations.
Learning and building your knowledge of all the hotel's areas as well as general maintenance understanding.
Working well with your other team members to ensure smooth and prompt response to any maintenance issues.
Maintenance Assistant will have: Good painting, mechanical, electrical and plumbing knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions.
Basic understanding of air-conditioning and ventilation / HVAC.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
The ability to work in a team or independently on tasks, working clean and in a timely manner.
The ability to think on your feet, respond quickly and problem solve effectively.
Excellent command of written & spoken English.
