Business Support Assistant - St Julian's School
Salary: Grade 2 SCP 3 - 5 £24,027 - £24,790 (Pro rata)
Governors at St Julian's School are looking to appoint a Business Support Assistant to work as part of the student support team, based at our student reception.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an improving school with high expectations and aspirations to become outstanding. The role requires a flexible approach, ability to work well as part of a team, and a proactive attitude.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, self-motivated team player, contributing to our positive and welcoming school ethos. The role involves front-of-house duties at student reception, communicating with students, parents, and staff.
Working hours are term-time only, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. These hours are fixed due to the role's nature.
The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, possess excellent organisational skills, and be capable of multitasking. Creativity and strong communication skills are also desirable.
Additional responsibilities include providing basic first aid and monitoring behaviour at the reception to maintain a welcoming environment. Training will be provided where necessary.
