The role also requires an informed oversight of Technical Services to effectively support the Hard FM team.You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Total FM contract are delivered safely, compliantly, and cost-effectively, while maintaining high service standards.What you'll do:Manage day-to-day Soft FM operations across the Birmingham clusterEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety policies, SOPs, and statutory requirementsOversee contractor control, permits, and safe systems of workMonitor budgets, costs, and financial performanceMaintain consistent service delivery across all sitesSupport audits and ensure sites remain inspection-readyLead, coach, and develop team membersBuild strong client relationships and act as key point of contactEnsure services meet contractual KPIs and quality standardsIdentify opportunities for service improvement and innovationWhat you bring:Essential:Proven experience in Facilities Management (ideally across Soft and Hard Services)Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsExperience managing teams and service deliveryFinancial awareness with budget management experienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDesirable:NEBOSH qualificationAuthorising Person certification (discipline-specific)Risk Assessment certificationISO Internal Auditor experienceHard FM experienceWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
