Job Title: Workshop Forklift Engineer
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week + overtime
Shift Pattern: Day shift – no weekend work
Join a leading forklift engineering team. We are currently seeking a Workshop Forklift Engineer to join our client’s established and expanding operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with mechanical experience to secure a stable, workshop-based role with consistent hours and a supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Routine service and maintenance of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Conducting LOLER inspections and ensuring compliance
Preparing equipment for hire or customer use in line with safety standards
Maintaining accurate service records and job documentationWhat You’ll Receive

NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Forklift, Plant, HGV, or Mechanical Engineering

Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrics, and diesel systems
LOLER certification desirable but not essential
