Deputy Manager (Clinical) – Fixed term 12 months (THE06D8)

Salary: up to £52,873 depending on experience.
Employment: Permanent – 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care within the home.
* Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, up‑to‑date medication records.
* Maintain appropriate staffing levels through efficient management of rotas.
* Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team – promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
* Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
* Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising to raise the home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and a genuine commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development.
* A real understanding of the benefits of high‑quality nursing care, championing independence, choice and dignity.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
* An effective communicator able to build strong and honest relationships with residents and their families.
* A natural leader ready to share clinical experience – leading and mentoring a team, delegating effectively and promoting excellent customer service.
* Excellent time‑management skills, able to prioritise workload effectively.
* A respectful and compassionate team player with a belief in giving personal best.
