About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide personalised assistance to pupils with a variety of learning difficulties and complex needs.
* Support students one-to-one and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and positive learning space where every child feels valued.
Key Responsibilities
* Support students' learning, development, and emotional wellbeing.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible lessons.
* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
* Encourage confidence, independence, and resilience in learners.
What We're Looking For
* Experience with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential - we value the right attitude and willingness to learn.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
